I have over twenty-five years of experience conducting workplace
training throughout the United States. I work with both private
and public sector, union and non-union employers of all sizes. I
use my legal knowledge and skills developed as an attorney and my
prior work experiences as a Human Resources and Labor Relations
Manager to train employees, managers, and executives on employment
law and HR best practices to create a legally compliant and courteous
workplace.
I am fluent in workplace laws and regulations affecting union and
non-union businesses in both the private and public sectors. I synthesize
complex legal regulations and requirements into conversational,
understandable and practical terms, giving supervisors, managers,
and employees the tools they need to comply with the various laws
affecting the workplace.
When my schedule permits, I also conduct workplace investigations
involving claims of discrimination and harassment, or similar workplace
misconduct. I also conduct facilitation or mediation to assist organizations
to identify workplace issues or solve workplace conflicts. In addition
to training, investigations, and conflict resolution, I also consult
with and advise employers and employees about a variety of employment
law matters and human resources best practices.
My office and home are located in Mount Vernon, Washington (about 60
miles North of Seattle).
